99.9 The Big Coyote Country
Coyote Country & Alpine College’s Career Makeover
Official Rules:
1. Web entry will begin Monday August 30th, 2010 and go through Thursday September 16th, 2010. Listeners are invited to enter on the web at www.thebig999coyotecountry.com. All entries must be received by midnight , drawing will take place on Thursday September 16th, 2010. One grand prize winner will be selected and announced with TC. 100% Scholarship for any Alpine Programs (limitations apply).
The Scholarship includes books, supplies, scrubs, & cap & gown for graduation. The value will range from $5,800 - $12,000 depending on the program the winner chooses to enter. Winner must meet minimum requirements listed below. Student will be responsible for purchasing shoes and school supplies such as pens, pencils, paper , etc.
2.The following requirements must be met in order for the winner to claim their prize. The candidate must have:
a.) Successfully completed high school and have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
b.) A Hepatitis B vaccine and a TB Test, for any of the medical programs
c.) Not have been convicted of a felony (winner must disclose all background and history and pass a background check)
d). Successfully pass an entrance exam
e). Must be recommended by an Admissions Representative on campus (this includes professionalism, punctuality, desire to be in the program, keeping appointments, etc).
3. New programs/modules start monthly. Winner can start a program within 1 week to 3 months depending on start dates available. The grand prize winner has 12 months from the date of winning to start their program. (Surgical Technician program not included in scholarship giveaway)
4. Should the student decide to apply for financial aide, the amount of the scholarship will be reduced by the amount of financial aid received.
5. Employees, interns, and independent contractors of KXLY Broadcast Group, affiliated sponsors, and employee affiliates and their immediate families and significant others or employees of participating trades are not eligible to enter or participate in the use or enjoyment of any prize.
6. Prizes are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash. No substitutes of prize will be permitted. In addition, listeners are eligible to win ONLY ONCE per house hold and are ineligible to win another prize on the corresponding station for 14 days.
7. KXLY Broadcast Group and affiliated sponsors are not liable for the failure of any third-party prizes. When prizes involve a third-party situation, a release form will be signed by winners to release KXLY Broadcast Group from any liability for the failure of any third-party provider of a prize.
8. Winner is responsible for all local, state, and federal applicable taxes, meals, all gratuities and incidental expenses arising from this contest.
9. By participating in this contest, contestants grant KXLY Broadcast Group permission and the right to publicize and/or broadcast contestants name, character, likeness, voice, and fact that he/she has participated in or won a KXLY Broadcast Group contest without any additional compensation.
10. Decision of KXLY Broadcast Group judges are final.
11. By accepting any prize, winner releases KXLY Broadcast Group from any and all liabilities associated with said prize.
12. KXLY Broadcast Group reserves the right to change the rules or discontinue the contest at any time without notice.
13. Winner agrees to allow the Big 99.9 Coyote Country to track their progress during the program with updates at the end of each module, in the form of recorded promotional announcements.
