KXLY 4 and McDonald’s Present:
Breakfast at Your Desk
Prize: Breakfast from McDonald’s for up to 12 people at their place of business with KXLY’s Mark Peterson with a possibility of it being aired on Good Morning Northwest.
1.Enter to Win online at kxly.com. Contest begins 7/1/2013 and ends 7/31/2013. Winner need not be present at the drawing to win. The odds of winning will depend on the total number of entries. McDonald’s is the official sponsor of this contest.
2.To Enter: Contestants must fully complete the online “Enter To Win” form. Limit one (1) entry per person during the contest period. No mechanically or mass produced entries will be accepted. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries. By participating in this contest, each entrant unconditionally agrees to abide by these rules. Non-compliance with these rules may result in disqualification.
3.One [1] Grand Prize winner will be randomly drawn from the entries on 8/6/2013. Grand Prize winner will be contacted via phone or email from a KXLY station employee by Thursday 8/8/2013.
4.Grand Prize winner must agree to have their place of business on TV with consent of their management team and be willing to host Mark Peterson anywhere from a half hour to 4 hours (depending on show chosen, and availability) or another winner may be chosen. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You are providing your information to the KXLY Broadcast Group and not to Facebook. The information you provide is used to document the "claiming of the prize(s)" during KXLY's verification process unless you opt in to receiver further KXLY Broadcast Group email notifications. Prize(s) may be claimed at the KXLY Broadcast Group front desk, 426 West Boone Avenue, Spokane, WA 99201 during normal business hours. Identification may be required.
5.Employees, interns, and independent contractors of KXLY Broadcast Group, McDonald’s, affiliated sponsors, and employee affiliates and their immediate families and significant others or employees of participating trades are not eligible to enter or participate in the use or enjoyment of any prize.
6.There will not be any substitutions or exchanges of prizes or travel arrangements without written approval from management.
7.You must be 18 years or older, a legal U.S. resident, and a resident of the state of Washington, or Idaho to be eligible to win.
8.No Purchase Necessary. Void where prohibited.
9.KXLY Broadcast Group, McDonald’s and their affiliated companies, and associated sponsors, are not liable for the failure of any third-party prizes. When prizes involve a third-party situation, a release form will be signed by winners to release KXLY Broadcast Group, McDonald’s, and their affiliated companies, and associated sponsors, from any liability for the failure of any third-party provider of a prize. 10.Winner is responsible for all local, state, and federal applicable taxes, all meals, all gratuities and incidental expenses arising from this contest. Approximate retail value $100.
11.By participating in this contest, contestants grant KXLY Broadcast Group, McDonald’s, and their affiliated companies, and associated sponsors, permission and the right to publicize and/or broadcast contestants name, character, likeness, voice, and fact that he/she has participated in or won a KXLY Broadcast Group/ McDonalds, without any additional compensation.
12.Decisions of KXLY Broadcast Group/ McDonald’s judges are final.
13.By participating in this contest, entrants release KXLY Broadcast Group, McDonald’s and their affiliated companies, from any and all liabilities associated with or arising in any way from the contest, including, without limitation, acceptance or use of any prize. The foregoing entities are not responsible if the prize cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, delays, or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather, or terrorism. Without limiting the foregoing and to the extent permitted by law, everything regarding this contest, including all prizes, are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.
14.KXLY Broadcast Group and McDonald's reserve the right to change the rules and/or discontinue the contest at any time without notice if, for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned or if sponsor suspects any fraud or tampering.
15. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
16. Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
17. KXLY reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
18. The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, Inc., and/or KXLY. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
19. Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
20. UPICKEM and KXLY are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.
21. This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
